Dior (PARIS:CDI.PA +0.50%) Men’s is dropping a full denim line for the first time. Governed by Kim Jones, the capsule collection will aim to serve the French Maison’s younger clients, with a bevy of workwear-inspired closet staples.
“[This collection] is composed of casual and sophisticated pieces, which are the perfect match for a men’s wardrobe,” said Jones in a statement. “I remember when I was young, I went through a phase where I wore Vans, jeans and a Stüssy T-shirt every day. Jeans are one of those basics that will stay with you for life. This is probably the last modern invention for men. It’s something cultural.”
The collection includes denim pants, shirts and bucket hats in washes spanning indigo to gray and black. The line is composed of eco-friendly materials and features several utility-first design details, including pocket darts and carpenter stitching. Meanwhile, Dior’s iconography is subtle, appearing on leather patches and on the designs’ lining.
The Dior Denim collection will arrive in stores and on the brand’s website on October 19. Prices range from €750 EUR to €1,900 EUR. Take a closer look at the line in the gallery above.
